Meet Yasmin

Yasmin has a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biological Sciences. Her studies at the U of A allowed her to merge all of her passions into one degree.

Yasmin continues to excel — in September 2017 she began her studies at Oxford University in England as a recipient of the Rhodes Scholarship, one of the most prestigious scholarships in the world.

The Undergraduate Research Initiative allows you to actively participate in groundbreaking research as early as your first year. Get hands-on experience with field work or lead the way with self-directed summer projects.
