Tuition deposit payment

Depending on what type of student you are, you may be required to actively accept your admission offer and/or pay a tuition deposit in order to enter a new program.

The following types of students are exempt from having to accept their admission offer and from paying the $500 tuition deposit:

  • Students entering the following faculties/programs:
    • School of Business (undergraduate)
    • Faculty of Extension
    • Graduate Studies
    • Doctor of Medicine*
    • Juris Doctor (Law)*
    • Doctor of Dental Surgery*
    • Dental Hygiene*
    • Pharmacy*
    • Medical Laboratory Science*
    • Radiation Therapy*
  • Incoming Exchange Students
  • Visiting Student Certificate Programs (VSCP) students
  • Transition Year Program (TYP) students
  • Third-party-funded students, including:
    • Indigenous students funded by their Band office**
    • Students sponsored by cultural bureaus

* This faculty requires you to pay a confirmation deposit directly to the faculty

**Indigenous applicants: If you are sponsored by a Band or other third party, please contact Financial Services to coordinate payment of your tuition deposit.
