Virtual Advising

Virtual Advising for Prospective High School Students

No matter what questions you have about the U of A, admissions, and university life, we remain committed to supporting you in getting those questions answered. Join us online for a virtual advising session today!

General Advising

Chat with an advisor and learn about program options, admission requirements, the application process, and more. General virtual advising is offered Monday through Friday during business hours.

Please note we are only able to provide virtual advising to prospective high school students. If you have previously or are currently taking post-secondary courses, we will be unable to offer you virtual advising. Please visit the Transfer Student webpage or contact your prospective faculty directly. We will unfortunately cancel your appointment if you have previously studied at a post-secondary institution, if you are a transfer student, or if you are a current U of A student.
