Our virtual booth fair is the perfect way to explore our 200+ program options by engaging with faculty booths to learn more and get your questions answered. You will also be able to discover our many university services and supports!

Open House FAQs

Do I need to register for live presentations and tours?
There is no pre-registration required for live presentations and tours! All live sessions will be 'first-come, first-served' and be accessible within the 6Connex platform. Many sessions are offered several times with large capacities, providing lots of opportunities for you to attend.
Do I need to submit a separate Virtual Open House registration form if I would like to attend the event on October 15, 16, and 17?
You will only need to submit one registration form. The link in your registration confirmation email will provide you with access to Virtual Open House for all three days.
I registered for Open House but can no longer attend. How do I cancel my registration?
Check your confirmation email for a link to cancel your registration.
What technology requirements are needed in order to attend Virtual Open House?

The Virtual Open House experience will be optimal if using a laptop or desktop computer; however, it can be viewed on a mobile device as well. 

Live-stream sessions will use a variety of platforms linked to Virtual Open House, including Zoom, Adobe, and YouTube live streams. For the optimal experience, we recommend that you download Adobe Connect on your device to ensure you can easily view all live presentations during the event.

Are my parents and family members also able to attend?
Parents and family members are welcome to attend along with you! We are hosting a live Parents & Families session on all three days where they will learn more about what the University of Alberta has to offer, our many student resources, and how they can continue to support you on this journey!
