The University of Alberta is all about community — on campus, in our city and province, and wherever our students call home. It’s in this spirit that we want to help our first-year out-of-province students stay connected to their communities by providing them with enough funds to fly home. Approximately 100 of these awards are available each year.

- Be entering the first year of full-time studies in an undergraduate degree program at the University of Alberta in September of the upcoming year
- Be admissible to your program of choice
- Be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident

Notification and acceptance
Applicants will be notified of the results in March. If you are offered this award, the My Awards section of Bear Tracks will be updated and you will receive an email notification. If you are offered an award, you will need to accept it in order to receive it.
