Value: $80,000 to $100,000
The Schulich Leader Scholarship is a competition for Canadian high school students enrolling in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) program in university.
Each year, the University of Alberta selects two Schulich Leaders — one Engineering student, and one student in a Science, Technology, or Math program — from a pool of competitive applicants from across Canada.
The U of A is a great choice for Schulich Leaders — we offer the kind of research-based environment where you can be challenged and thrive!
The value of this scholarship depends on what program you are entering:
- $100,000 over four years for students entering an Engineering program
- $80,000 over four years for students entering a Science, Technology, or Mathematics program
This scholarship is open to high school students in Canada who have been admitted to a STEM program at a participating university in Canada (including the University of Alberta), and who have demonstrated academic excellence, outstanding leadership, and/or financial need.
