Meet Johnny, an Urban Planning student from Edmonton, Alberta.
Before coming to university he was shy, but found that the UAlberta campus community has given him a place to come out of his shell. He loves Edmonton for its green spaces and vibrancy, and is discovering more of it every day.
Meet Beverley, a Fine Arts student from Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.
Beverley dreams of changing the world through art. She chose the U of A to make this dream possible because it has one of the best acting programs in Canada.
Abby is an engineering student from Edmonton, Alberta.
She is an aspiring astronaut and member of the U of A AlbertaSat team, developing the Ex-Alta 2 cube satellite that will predict, track, and assess the after-effects of wildfires. She is also involved in WISEST, and is a leader at Science Fun Day.
Yasmin has a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biological Sciences. Her studies at the U of A allowed her to merge all of her passions into one degree.
Yasmin continues to excel — in September 2017 she'll begin her studies at Oxford University in England as a recipient of the Rhodes Scholarship, one of the most prestigeous scholarships in the world.

Ivan began his studies at Campus Saint Jean in order to learn in his first language, French, before finishing his degree on North Campus. He got involved with sustainability student groups during his studies as well as dancing to stay close to his culture.

Jessie is taking a double degree program to align with her goals of teaching Indigenous youth. She enriched her time at the U of A by studying abroad at the Cortona, Italy, campus, which was one of the highlights of her degree.
