About Me

PhD, University of Saskatchewan

Job/Research Area

Statistical Genomics and Quantitative Genetics

Major Responsibilities/Research Interests

Research focus is on the development of new theories and analytical methods for studying genomic and breeding data from crop plants and farmed animals and for analyzing spatial data from large-scale field trials or farm fields. My current research interests and activities include: (i) the development of new statistical methods for studying genotype-environment interactions and evaluation of crop variety trials; (ii) modeling gene-gene interactions; (iii) statistical issues related to genomic prediction based on high density DNA markers; and (iv) spatial statistics.
