The best images will be used to create the 2020 Forestry Alumni wall calendar in celebration of the 50-year creation of forestry studies at the University of Alberta.

Calendars will be available for pickup at November 2019 FILS or mailed to those unable to attend.

NOTE: no images of individuals will be published without express written consent from each identifiable adult. No images of minors will be published, without exception.

Bears over Beers - Forest Ecology

Following Scott Nielsen's lecture on grizzly bears during 'U of A in a Day', join professors and grad students at Dewey's in the Power Plant. Learn more about bears over beers to celebrate 49 years of forest ecology studies at the U of A, and how our work today carries on the ecological approach to forest science that our university was known for since the program started in 1970.
