Support the Growth of VMS

Our volunteer mentors have helped to provide guidance for dozens of University of Alberta entrepreneurs since the ThresholdImpact University of Alberta Venture Mentoring Program's inception in December 2013. Mentors are all highly accomplished professionals, generously giving their time to our entrepreneurial community in order to develop, inspire and empower our UAlberta entrepreneurs. This positively impacts the personal growth of our alumni and also contributes to a more diversified Alberta economy.

Our mentors and board advisors are volunteers. The university provides funds for the VMS program staff and our current operating budget. As we continue to scale the program up to meet growing demand for new entrepreneur applicants, the resulting new program costs will exceed our existing budget - these include items such as scaling our information technology systems, new educational activities for entrepreneurs, training for mentors to enable them to be more effective coaches and more.

Any member of the public (individual or corporation) can contribute to the growth of our community. Our entrepreneurs thank you for your support!
