Beijing, China

Events have been organized in the city for over 15 years, but a chapter was formally established in 2018. The Chapter plans to recognize three events each year ranging from social to educational activities.

Hong Kong, China

Established over 35 years ago, the University of Alberta Alumni Association Hong Kong (UAAAHK) is the largest chapter outside of North America. UAAAHK volunteers help plan and execute five events a year including the signature UAlberta Day that celebrates alumni and researchers 'Doing Great Things'. Other events range from lunch and learns, to family and sporting events and art auction. UAAAHK also partners the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong in a number of events each year.

Shanghai

Formally established in 2017, the Shanghai Chapter consists of 5 volunteers who organize three to four events each year. Events can include lectures, alumni business tours, and happy hour socials.

Shenzhen

Shenzhen is home to UAlberta's bilingual Masters of Financial Management (MFM) and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) program. The South China Chapter has more than 20 volunteers and majority of the alumni are from the MFM and MBA program. The Chapter organizes four events a year ranging from social activities to company visits and educational lectures.

Singapore

There is one annual reception featuring a UAlberta research each Fall. Singapore alumni also partner with Canadian Chamber of Commerce Singapore in a number of events each year.

London, England

Over 700 UAlberta alumni call London and area home. Alumni activities are organized on a ad-hoc basis.
