Registration

I am having a problem with the online registration, what should I do?

  • For registration assistance, please call 780-492-3224 or 1-800-661-2593.

When do I receive my registration package?
  • Registrants will receive a registration package that includes event tickets (for ticketed events), a campus map and updated event information. If you requested that your package be e-mailed to you, you should receive it within two weeks of registration.
  • If you requested that we mail your package to you, mailings will begin in early August. To avoid problems caused by mail delays, mailings outside of North America will end on August 3. Mailings outside Alberta will end on September 1. All other mailings will end on September 14. Packages that we were unable to mail will be available for pickup at the Information Tent in Quad (Friday, September 21, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Saturday, September 22, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.).
  • If you are attending the Alumni Awards on Monday evening, your tickets will be available for pick up at the event.
  • If you forget to bring the materials from your registration package such as your parking pass or campus map, please stop by the Information Tent; staff there will be able to assist you.

May I go to a faculty event even if I am not a graduate of that faculty?

  • In general, no one is prohibited from attending but keep in mind that faculty events are designed for graduates of that faculty and their guests. Please note that there are some events that are restricted to faculty alumni only.

How can I find out which of my classmates have registered?

  • A "Who's Coming" list of those who have registered is available on the Alumni Weekend website. Please remember that some people may have chosen not to have their name displayed on the web. You may contact the Office of Alumni Relations or your Class Organizer if you would like to see if someone has registered.

How can I find out if a private function is planned for my class?

  • Many anniversary classes have a Class Organizer or Committee. You may have received a letter from them indicating special plans for your class. A list of classes which have organizers is available on the Alumni Weekend website. For information on how to contact an Organizer, please call Emma at 780-492-1835.

How do I request a refund?

  • Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing, via fax, email, or mail by Wednesday, September 19.

How can I reserve a seat with my classmate(s)?

  • The Golden Grads Dinner has planned seating arrangements. If you wish to sit with specific classmates please call 780-248-1161, 1-800-661-2593 or rob.curtis@ualberta.ca. If no specific seating arrangement is indicated, you will be seated with alumni from your graduation year and/or faculty. Every attempt will be made to honour seating arrangements, but this will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • There is no assigned or reserved seating for the Alumni Awards.

Access Needs/Dietary Requests

  • The Alumni Association is committed to making our events accessible to all alumni. If you have access needs and require assistance, or if you have any special dietary restrictions, please indicate this on the registration form. Sign language interpreting services, real-time captioning or other disability-related services or accommodations can be arranged. Please direct requests to Katrina at 780-492-6530 by 4 p.m. MST on Friday, September 14.

I/My Class would like to make a donation to the University. What should I do?
