Charles is the Founder and President of CarePros, a disability and children’s services agency that focuses on enhancing the lives of children and youth in care. He is a champion for diversity, equity, and inclusion, and is currently focused on leading a culturally responsive organization that supports the intergenerational trauma of Indigenous children and youth.

Previously, Charles held management roles in several industries including Healthcare, Technology, Retail, and Private Equity. Prior to establishing CarePros, Charles was with Tim Hortons where he led the rollout of a $700MM remodel across 400+ restaurants. Charles received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alberta, his MBA from the Ivey Business School, and is a graduate of the Owner/President Management Program (OPM) from Harvard Business School.

Charles has been recognized as the 2020 Young Entrepreneur of the Year by Alberta Business Awards of Distinction, a 2021 Report on Business Changemaker by the Globe and Mail, a 2022 New Innovator People Leader by Canadian Business, a 2022 Business in Edmonton Leader, and a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee Medal.

Charles is an entrepreneur within the ThresholdImpact Venture Mentoring Service (VMS) program at the U of A and also serves as the Entrepreneur Representative on the VMS Board of Advisors.

In his spare time, Charles can be found playing basketball, spending time outdoors, and traveling abroad.
