Christiana Dizon graduated from the University of Alberta in 2006 with a BSc in Nutrition and Food Science and went on to complete her internship to become a Registered Dietitian. During her time at the U of A she was involved with Campus Ambassadors, the University of Alberta Dance Club, and Orientation as an orientation leader and undergraduate group leader.

After the completion of her internship, Christiana started working with Covenant Health as a clinical dietitian in acute care practicing in cardiology, neonatal intensive care, adult intensive care, medicine, general surgery, and orthopedics. She continues to be involved with the U of A by precepting students in the dietetics degree program. Previous and current volunteer experiences also include Meet the Dietitian Night with the Faculty of ALES, SHINE Youth Clinic, instructing with the University of Alberta Dance Club, and mentoring with Diversify Dietetics. Her passions include increasing the ethnic and racial diversity of the dietetic and nutrition profession; and understanding and improving dietetic student’s perception and experience during their schooling.

Christiana’s interests include photography, running, and exploring Edmonton’s food scene with her husband and young daughter.
