Joanne Richer-Fodchuk, ’01 BEd, ’04 MSLP

Joanne received her Master of Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Alberta in 2004 and her Bachelor of Education in 2001. Joanne is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and a certified teacher in Alberta. She has worked as a SLP for over 15 years in community and school pediatrics, in both urban, rural and remote areas of Alberta, and with both private and public services. Joanne is currently the Director of Educational Services running an Early Childhood Services program and teen and adult programs for autistic individuals.

In addition, Joanne has spent 6 years as a council member for the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology (ACSLPA) and served as president for 4 of these. Joanne is an active volunteer with her national SLP association as well with her children’s various activities. Joanne enjoys spending quality time with her husband and three children and with friends and family. Joanne refinishes furniture as a hobby and enjoys staying active.
