Current Volunteer Opportunities

Augustana Alumni Student Support & Engagement Team (ASSET)

The Alumni Student Support Engagement Team (ASSET) provides a rewarding and meaningful volunteer experience for Alumni. As an ASSET member, you will volunteer directly with students and other services on campus to positively impact the mental health & well-being of UAlberta students. We are pleased to now provide this program at Augustana!

Through multiple volunteer opportunities you will:
  • Provide information to students on mental health support services available on campus
  • Engage with students through campus support services including Student Services and Residence Services.
  • Facilitate student mental health check-ins at events held at key times during the academic year.

At Augustana, ASSET volunteer recruitment occurs annually through the summer months. Training takes place in September and November. Volunteering occurs during the Winter and Fall semesters.
