The first 10 students (nationwide) that join the CAA-SC as the representative for their department receive a free CAA membership. The main duty of a CAA-SC representative is ensuring that emails from the CAA-SC are delivered to the students in their respective department. Once the committee is established we can plan workshops/events for the CAA annual conference and brainstorm ideas to have students across the country share their research and create a sense of a student archaeological community.
