Responsibilities as Associate Dean, Research
- Inform, support, and champion Arts colleagues in securing research funding
- Assist efforts to ensure Arts researchers are nominated and receive well-deserved awards and recognitions
- Support and facilitate research collaborations, visiting researchers, and other initiatives that allow Arts researchers to excel
- Support the operations and success of Centres, Institutes, and other collaborative research ventures in the Faculty of Arts
- Draw university and public attention to the success and contributions of research from across the social sciences, humanities, and fine arts
Personal Interests & Hobbies:
- Mountain recreation – hiking, climbing, mountaineering, skiing, and ski touring
- Live music – folk, alt-country, jazz, and more
