Responsibilities as Associate Dean, Research

  • Inform, support, and champion Arts colleagues in securing research funding
  • Assist efforts to ensure Arts researchers are nominated and receive well-deserved awards and recognitions
  • Support and facilitate research collaborations, visiting researchers, and other initiatives that allow Arts researchers to excel
  • Support the operations and success of Centres, Institutes, and other collaborative research ventures in the Faculty of Arts
  • Draw university and public attention to the success and contributions of research from across the social sciences, humanities, and fine arts 

Personal Interests & Hobbies:

  • Mountain recreation – hiking, climbing, mountaineering, skiing, and ski touring
  • Live music – folk, alt-country, jazz, and more

  • The Wire, Breaking Bad, Happy Valley, The Bridge, The Fall, Broadchurch, and on and on
