The AWE Peer Mentorship Program aims to create a community of AWE students and alumni. It brings together individuals who want to connect and learn from each other by chatting about their career related goals and challenges.
Meet and network with other AWE students
Learn about the professional work environment from those who have first-hand experience
Receive advice and support on job applications and interview preparation
Develop interpersonal and leadership skills
How it works:
Once all applications are received, mentees will be paired with mentors who have completed a minimum of 4 months of AWE work experience.
- To be a mentor, you must be either currently enrolled in AWE or be an AWE alumni, and have completed a minimum of 4 months of work experience.
- To be a mentee, you must be currently accepted and enrolled in Arts Work Experience.
- Once matched, Mentors and mentees can meet on their own time based on their individual availability. We suggests that mentors and mentors connect for approximately 1 hour per month whether that is in person, video and/or phone, through email or social media.
- Attend the Kickoff and Year-end event if possible
