Bridging Students Information

The Faculty of Arts will be placing a 3-course (9-credit) limit on the first 4-month term (Fall or Winter) for students exiting BP Stage 2 and entering BP Stage 3, starting in the Fall 2016 term.

For example, a student completing BP Stage 2 (EAP 145) in Spring 2016 or Summer 2016 will be limited to taking 3 courses in the Fall 2016 term; a student completing BP Stage 2 in Fall 2016 will be limited to taking 3 courses in the Winter 2017 term.

Students who would like to take more than 3 courses during this term will need to speak to an advisor in Arts in advance for permission. Please contact us via email (arts.undergrad@ualberta.ca), explaining your situation and including a study plan for your upcoming term.
