Sophomore Golden Bears running back Jonathan Rosery is the Sherlock Holmes Athlete of the Week, after helping the Bears earn a 18-17 road win over the Regina Rams.

In a tight defensive battle, Rosery was still able to carve his way through the Rams defence, finishing with 67 rushing yards on just 16 carries. His touchdown late in the third quarter gave the Bears a 17-16 lead. He also added a team-high 60 receiving yards on six receptions.

Following Week 2 of conference play, Rosery sits fourth in Canada West with 118 rushing yards on 29 carries, while he has also added 110 receiving yards on 11 total receptions.

Rosery and the 1-1 Golden Bears will look to get above .500 this Friday night, when they host the 1-1 Manitoba Bisons at Foote Field. Kickoff for the Week 2 clash is set for 7:00 p.m. MST.
