Brody Clarke is the Sherlock Holmes Athlete of the Week

    In his first regular season action of the season, fifth-year Bears Basketball forward Brody Clarke led Alberta to a road sweep over the Trinity Western Spartans, and has been named the Sherlock Holmes Athlete of the Week for his efforts. 

    The All-Canadian finished the two-game sweep with 32 points and 20 rebounds, while hitting on 52% of his shots. Clarke also added five steals and four assists, including a four-steal performance in the Bears 113-68 win on Friday night.

    The Toronto, ON product finished with 14 points and eight rebounds on Friday, as the Bears finished with a season-high 113 points.

    Clarke added 18 points and 12 rebounds on Saturday, finishing with his 26th career double-double.With his nine offensive rebounds over two games, Clarke also tied Bears alum Jordan Baker for the program record with 224.

    The No. 4 ranked, and 15-1 Golden Bears will host the No. 2 ranked, and 16-0 Calgary Dinos on Thursday night at Saville.
