    Story Lines: 

    The Calgary Dinos host the 2020 Canada West Championship this weekend, as the conference’s top wrestlers meet in Southern Alberta.
    The Golden Bears are the three-time defending Canada West Champions, and are currently the No. 1 ranked men’s wrestling program in Canada. 
    The Pandas are looking for a second conference title in three seasons, after winning in 2018, and placing second in 2019. The Pandas are ranked 4th in U SPORTS.

    Story Lines: 
    The No. 4 ranked Golden Bears are coming off a sweep over the No. 2 Calgary Dinos, which included handing Calgary their first two losses of a season, including a 103-87 win in Calgary on Saturday night.
    The Alberta men now lead Canada West with a 17-1 record, with their 0.6421 RPI ranking also topping the conference. 
    The Bears will honour their three graduating student-athletes on Saturday before their game; Brody Clarke, Ivan Ikomey, and Dwan Williams. This weekend will mark the final regular season weekend before the playoffs. The top four seeds in CW earn a bye through to the quarter-final.

    The Pandas earned a series spit against the No. 2 ranked Calgary Dinos last weekend, losing 88-66 at home on Thursday, before bouncing back with a 78-69 road win on Saturday night. 
    Their 15-3 record is third best in Canada West, with their 0.6098 RPI also ranking third. 
    Saskatchewan is the No. 1 team in Canada, and lead Canada West with a 17-1 record this season. 
    The Pandas will celebrate their graduating players on Saturday night as well; Vanessa Wild, Brooklyn Legault, Megan Tywoniuk, and Marinya Marcichiw.

    With two conference games remaining, the Golden Bears still lead Canada West with 42 points in 26 games. Saskatchewan also has 42 points, but Alberta owns the tie-breaker over the Huskies. 
    Alberta has already locked up a first-round playoff bye, and will host a semifinal series February 21st to 23rd. 
    Sophomore forward Grayson Pawlenchuk sits second in Canada West with 31 points in 26 games, three points behind Calgary Dino Matt Alfaro. 
    The Bears and Bisons split their previous series in Winnipeg in late November.
