    Story Lines: 
    The Golden Bears and Pandas are the defending Canada West Champions, with each team having won three of the last four regional qualifiers for the U SPORTS Championship.  
    The Pandas will be led by 2019 Canadian Jr. Champion Selena Sturmay, who was also a second on the Pandas 2018 U SPORTS Championship team. Abby Marks, Paige Papley and Catherine Clifford, all of whom captured a silver at the Canadian Junior Championship yesterday in Langley, BC, will all be on the Pandas roster this weekend. 
    The Bears will be led by returning athletes Karsten Sturmay, Chris Kennedy, Andrew Gittis and Glenn Venance.

    Story Lines: 
    The top two teams in Canada West meet this weekend, as the 16-0 Dinos battle the 15-1 Golden Bears. The Dinos are ranked second in U SPORTS, while Alberta is ranked fourth. 
    Calgary has won the last two conference titles, including an 84-77 win over Alberta in the 2018 CW Final. Alberta is looking for their first Canada West crown since 2017, but are also aiming to reach nationals for the fourth-straight season, which would be a program first.
    All-Canadian forward Brody Clarke returned to action last weekend in Langley, scoring 32 points and hauling in 20 rebounds in two games.

    Story Lines: 
    The Alberta women have won 10-straight conference games, and sit just one game back of the 15-1 Dinos for a top-two seed. 
    Fourth-year forward Brooklyn Legault set a new program record last weekend for blocks, entering this weekend with 60 career blocks. 
    The Dinos beat the Pandas in both of their regular season meetings last year, including a 72-62 OT win at Saville.

    Story Lines: 

    Alberta had their 12-game conference win streak snapped on Saturday night, but still lead Canada West with a 16-7-1-0 record and 50 points. 
    The Pandas have a four-point lead on both Calgary and Saskatchewan for the No. 1 seed in CW. 
    With another two goals last weekend, fifth-year forward Autumn MacDougall extended her current point streak to nine-straight games, as her 15 goals and 27 points are both tops in the conference.

    Story Lines: 
    The Golden Bears are a perfect 6-0 to start the calendar year, and have jumped into second in Canada West with a 14-4 record.
    The Pandas, after a sweep over Manitoba, are now 12-6 this season, and in a tie for fifth in the conference.
    Panda Kory White’s 316 kills are already the 5th most in a season in program history. She set the current record of 374 last year. The Canada West record is 471.
