    Story Lines: 
    The Pandas won both of their BC matches last weekend, and sit first in the Prairie Division of Canada West with a 3-0-1 record. 
    Veteran Pandas Kiera Fujimoto and Brenna Mattiello led the team with three points each in four matches, with both scoring this past weekend. 
    Starting keeper Ashley Turner has allowed just two goals in four matches this season, recording back-to-back shutouts against UBCO and Thompson Rivers on the road.

    Story Lines: 
    The Bears are coming off a pair of losses in BC this past weekend, as they have lost four-straight conference matches. It marks the first time since 2000 the Bears have lost four or more conference matches consecutively. 
    Alberta has scored just three goals in six matches, the lowest total in Canada West. They have been shutout four times in six games. 
    The Bears last met UBC and UNBC during the 2018 season, with Alberta beating the Timberwolves twice (including a 3-0 quarter-final win), also beating UBC 1-0.

    Story Lines: 

    • The Golden Bears are coming off back-to-back upset wins over nationally ranked opponents, including a thrilling 29-26 win over the No. 8 Manitoba Bisons at home last Friday. 
    • Through three games, Saskatchewan has had an excellent offensive attack. They lead CW with 205 rush yards per game, while their 34.3 points per game is the second highest mark. 
    • Alberta and Saskatchewan both enter Week 4 with matching 2-1 records. It marks the first time since 2015 the Bears have had a winning conference record. 
    • Leading Alberta this season has been their stingy and athletic defence. The Bears rank second in Canada West with five interceptions, first with five fumble recoveries, and first with two defensive touchdowns. 
    • Fifth-year Golden Bears receiver Ben Kopczynski added 60 receiving yards in Week 3, with his season total now standing at a conference-best 255 yards. 
    • Golden Bears and Pandas Athletics will honour former head coach and Sports Wall of Fame member Jim Donlevy prior to kickoff on Saturday afternoon. Members of the Donlevy family will participate in the on-field celebration.
