Volunteering and involvement in extracurricular activities can be an excellent way to develop the skills and knowledge you’ll need for future careers and to explore career fields. Be intentional about what you hope to gain or learn from your participation with organizations on and off campus.

The CACEE Campus Recruitment and Benchmark Survey (2012) identified and ranked the top skills employers are looking for in potential candidates:

Volunteering in Camrose

There are many organizations to volunteer with in Camrose including, but not limited to, Camrose & District Support Services, The City of Camrose, The Jeanne & Peter Lougheed Performing Arts Centre, St. Mary’s Hospital, Habitat for Humanity, Boys & Girls Club, Camrose Women’s Shelter, Special Olympics, etc.
