I am a second year Biology student from Grande Prairie, AB and I plan to pursue a career in medicine. This is my first year as an ambassador and I love Augustana because students are able to obtain a high quality education and also have countless opportunities to get involved on campus.
My name is Alexa and I am a second year Biology and Secondary Education student from Fort Saskatchewan. One day I aspire to be a Biology teacher. I am currently involved in the Campus Visits program, I work as a Resident Assistant, and I’m starting a unicycle club My favorite thing about Augustana is meeting new people and annoying my sister who works here.
I am a fourth year Biology student from Athabasca, AB. I love being able to give tours and share my love of Augustana. Specifically, the small campus and class sizes, the helpful and friendly professors, the community, and the many opportunities that Augustana provides. I am currently president of the Wildlife club and tutor in the writing centre. A quote I live by is “great things never came from comfort zones.”
My name is Dami and I am a fourth year Physical Education - Kinesiology student from Strathmore. I am president of the International Cultures Club, an International student peer mentor, and I work as a Resident Assistant. My favorite Campus Visits event is Welcome Weekend - I enjoy mingling with prospective students and the energy and excitement that they bring to the weekend. I love the sense of community and the numerous opportunities Augustana provides.
My name is Emily and I am a third year Physical Education - Kinesiology student from Manning. I am very busy on campus. Some of that business includes being part of the Science Club, the communications director of Outdoors Club, and a member of the x-country running team. I love the friendly people and community on campus as well as the opportunities to be involved on campus and community.
I am a second year Psychology student from Delburne, Alberta. One day I hope to work at a mental hospital, with children in the health ward or possibly as a lawyer and work for the UN. My favorite experience from a Campus Visits event was my Student for a Day. I fell in love with Augustana and was enrolled soon after my visit! I became a Campus Ambassador to share that experience and do the same for prospective students!
My name is Garrett and I am a third year Environmental Science student from Vulcan who one day aspires to be an Environmental Scientist. My favorite thing about Augustana is the chocolate milk! The community is pretty good as well. I joined the Campus Visits program because of my previous attendance at Campus Visits events. The Campus Visits team welcomed me and helped me positively influence my choosing of Augustana.
My name is Gillian and I am a second year Biology student from Whitecourt, Alberta. I love the smaller class sizes and community atmosphere that the school promotes and I became an ambassador to share my love of Augustana to potential future students. After my degree I plan to become a marine biologist.
I am a fourth year Physical Education - Kinesiology student from Edmonton, Alberta. I am part of the International Cultures Club on campus and I work as a Resident Assistant - if you have any questions about dorms I can certainly help you out! Augustana is a place that I call home and I joined the ambassador program to let prospective students know how awesome our school is.

My favorite thing about campus (other than the unlimited chocolate milk) is how approachable the professors are and how much they care about your education.

I love helping out with the community events that are hosted at Augustana, plus Welcome Weekend is always a blast!

I am a Resident Assistant and in my free time I enjoy watching movies and reading. My favorite thing about Augustana is the small class sizes and the people are terrific! The professors are also awesome because they actually care about you and your education.
My name is Jenny and I am from Calgary. I am a second year Computing Science student and I love the program because of how it challenges me academically. On campus, I am involved with the Student Chaplaincy program and I like how Augustana’s smaller campus allows me to actively engage with the student population.

On campus I am involved in Human Rights club and Sangkor. The Campus Visits program is a major part of why I chose Augustana - bowling during Welcome Weekend was super fun!

My name is Kaylee and I am a third year Chemistry student from Calgary, AB. In addition to starting as an ambassador this year, I am also president of the Chemistry Club. I became an ambassador because I really enjoyed coming here for Welcome Weekend as a prospective student and I want to connect more with the Augustana community and with future students as well.
I am a first year Biology student from New Norway, AB. I am a member of the cross country team and I love living on campus and all of the new people I have met. Being a campus ambassador will allow me to help prospective students become more comfortable in the new environment and promote the school to the greater community.

I have no clue what I want to do after I graduate, but I do have a passion for music, psychology, and Augustana - I think I am in the right place. I joined the ambassador team because it sounded like a great opportunity to help encourage prospective students to consider this campus and I love the friendly atmosphere of the school and the program. This year I am working part-time at the rock climbing wall on campus. Fun fact about me: seals are my favorite animal!

I joined the ambassador program so that I can share with prospective students about what makes Augustana unique plus I loved the experience I had when I came to Welcome Weekend last year. I am a second year Political Science student from Yellowknife, NWT. I became an ambassador because I have a lot of friends in the program who enjoy it and one of my favorite memories from last year is hosting a student at Welcome Weekend. Someday I hope to travel to Bora Bora.
My name is Sydney and I am a third year Biology major from Medicine Hat. I want to be the real Arizona Robins… in other words a pediatric specialist. My experience at Welcome Weekend was so amazing that I wanted to give others the same opportunity. This year I am also a trainer for the women’s volleyball team.
