My name is Ailsa and I am a first year Music student from Devon. One day I aspire to be a music teacher or a music therapy specialist. On campus I am involved in the Knitting and Crocheting club. I also work part-time as a library assistant in the library on campus. My favorite memory from the Campus Visits team so far is that during our training, my group had to give an actual tour to a new student. Life motto - love what you do and do what you love.

I am currently involved in the Campus Visits program, Games club, and Outdoors club. My favorite thing about Augustana is hanging out with new friends and annoying my sister who works here.

I am a third year Biology student from Athabasca, Alberta. I love being able to give tours and share my love of Augustana. Specifically, the small campus and class sizes, the helpful and friendly professors, the community, and the many opportunities that Augustana provides. I am currently president of the Wildlife club and tutor in the writing centre. A quote I live by is, “Great things never came from comfort zones.”

My name is Dami and I am a third year Physical Education - Kinesiology student from Strathmore. I am president of the International Cultures club, International student peer mentor, and an executive for the Afri-youth club. My favorite Campus Visits event was Welcome Weekend. I enjoyed mingling with the prospective students and the energy and excitement that they brought to the weekend. This year is about to be LITT - consider every situation and LITTUATION.

Danny YangDanny Yang

I am a first year political science student from Calgary. On campus I am involved in the Paintball club, Fun and Games club, Outdoor club, and Fitness club. One day I hope to be a lawyer and then transition into business. I love the tight community that Augustana provides as well as the (almost) unlimited food that the cafeteria provides. My personal Danny Yang quote is, “If you love airsofting or paintballing, then come to me and we’ll be best friends!”

My name is Emil and I am a fifth year Physical Education - Kinesiology and Psychology student from Hong Kong. I aspire to be a general practitioner. In the meantime I am currently involved in Climbing club, Debate club and the Wildlife club. I became part of the Campus Visits program to show others this amazing campus so that they can hopefully experience what I have come to love. Especially the unlimited chocolate milk at the cafeteria!

Some of that business includes being the secretary for the Science club, the community liaison/public outreach coordinator for the Fun and Games club, as well as participating in the Outdoors club, International Cultures club, and AQUA. I love the friendly people and community on campus as well as the opportunities to be involved on campus and community.

I am a first year Psychology student from Delburne, Alberta. One day I hope to work at a mental hospital, with children in the health ward or possibly as a lawyer and work for the UN. My favorite experience from a Campus Visits event was my Student for a Day. I fell in love with Augustana and was enrolled soon after my visit! I became a Campus Ambassador to share that experience and do the same for prospective students!

My name is Garrett and I am a second year Environmental Science student from Vulcan who one day aspires to be an Environmental Scientist. My favorite thing about Augustana would have to be the chocolate milk! The community is pretty good as well. I joined the Campus Visits program because of my previous attendance at Campus Visits events. The Campus Visits team welcomed me and helped me positively influence my choosing of Augustana.

There are too many favorite experiences for me to pick from however I do love how excited prospective students are to start their university experience! My favorite thing about Augustana is the small class sizes and community atmosphere. I joined the Campus Visits program because I love meeting new faces and sharing my Augustana experience.

I am currently one of the Senior Ambassadors for the Campus Visits program as well as a Resident Assistant in first year dorms. I loved helping out with the science fair and taking elementary children to stations around campus for the Campus Visits program.

In my free time I enjoy watching movies and reading. My favorite thing about Augustana is the small class sizes and the people are terrific! The professors are also awesome because they actually care about you and your education.

My name is Jenn and I am a fifth year Political Studies student from Saskatoon. Currently I am involved in the student newspaper on campus and I am the International Student Program Coordinator for Student Services. I aspire to one day create a just society. My favorite thing about Augustana is becoming friends with professors. I joined the Campus Visits program because I love playing ice breakers and meeting new people!

I am a first year Biology and Chemistry student from Spruce Grove who aspires to be a Pediatric Oncologist. In my free time I enjoy curling, dance, fitness and yoga. When I don't have free time I am involved in the Science club, Human Rights club, and Sangkor. The Campus Visits program is a major part of why I chose Augustana, bowling during Welcome Weekend was a blast! I volunteer and travel every summer, if you get the chance ask me about it!

I had such a great experience with the Campus Visits program when I was looking into Augustana and I want to help others have a positive experience similar to mine! One fun fact about me is that I have three baby kittens even though I am allergic to kittens.

My name is Kelsey and I am a third year Biology student from Edmonton. I am a Resident Assistant on campus and am in the Human Rights club. I aspire to be a doctor, hopefully a surgeon. My favorite class is between Physiology and Biochemistry. Dr. Haave is my favorite professor because he really focusses on learning and thinking in different ways rather than memorization.

I am a first year Biology and Chemistry major from Vulcan who one day wants to be an Optometrist. I joined the Campus Visits team to represent Augustana and share my experiences with prospective students. My favorite experience from a Campus Visits event was Welcome Weekend, all of it! Biology would have to be my favorite class and my favorite quote is, “You’re a wizard Harry” (Rubeus Hagrid).

My name is Sydney and I am a second year Biology major from Medicine Hat. I want to be the real Arizona Robins… in other words a pediatric specialist. My experience at Welcome Weekend was so amazing that I wanted to give others the same opportunity. I even met one of my best friends at Welcome Weekend which is memorable experience of mine.

I joined the Campus Visits program because Augustana was my first choice and I wanted to reach out to prospective students to show them how great being a Viking really is! A favorite experience of mine was the free coffee at one of the Preview Days I was volunteering for after pulling an all-nighter.

I am a fourth year Psychology and Peter Lougheed Leadership College student from Valhalla Centre, Alberta. I am currently one of the Student Program Coordinators for the Campus Visits program. After I graduate I hope to continue on to the Masters in Physical Therapy program at U of A. My favorite thing about Augustana is the community as well as the opportunities that it has given me to be a part of. I love sharing that with prospective students.
