Dry Land and Conditioning Hockey Camp

The Augustana Fitness Centre Athlete Dry-Land & Conditioning Camp is a customized off ice program designed to strengthen and improve hockey-specific skills during the season. This program is lead by the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Augustana Vikings Hockey team and includes 20 one-hour sessions.

Our program will have a focus on: speed & agility, strength, power, balance & flexibility, and skill development.

Athletes will train in small groups to maximize attention of our trainer, while fostering and encouraging development of team work skills.

Times

  • Group 1 (14 - 17 years): 5:30 - 6:30 PM or 7:45 - 8:45 PM
  • Group 2 (10 - 13 years): 6:45 - 7:45 PM

November 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, 28

Dry Land Hockey: Strength & Sniping

Improve your game by registering for 7 two hour sessions. The first hour will dedicated to improve the athlete's speed & agility, strength, power, balance & flexibility. The second hour will focus on stick handling, shooting, and skill development. This camp will be sure to up your game in a fun and challenging way!

All sessions will be hosted at the Camrose Recreation Centre.

Multi-Sport Development Camp

The Augustana Fitness Centre Multi-Sport Development Camp is designed to help young athletes learn training techniques to effectively build speed & agility, power, flexibility, and better their movement techniques. Athletes will train in small groups for 6 one-hour training sessions with a CSEP Personal Trainer. Sessions will be located at Augustana Campus.

This program is limited to 12 athletes per group.

Times

  • Group 1 (10 - 13 years; Co-Ed): 10:00 - 11:00 AM
  • Group 2 (14+ years; Co-Ed): 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Dates

July 5, 12, 19, 26; August 9, 16, 17

Cost: $100.00/athlete
