Sing GLORIA! Christmas with Augustana continues a beloved Camrose choral tradition as the choirs of the Augustana Campus join forces to celebrate the season with music. This year's concert features the Missa Carolae by English composer James Whitbourn. Built on a number of traditional, familiar carol melodies, the 100 choral singers will be accompanied by The Capital Brass Ensemble, Ann Salmon piccolo flute, Tova Olson and David Salmon percussion, Carolyn Olson piano and Roger Admiral on the Augustana Chapel Organ. As always, there will be a chance for you to sing along with the choirs!

The Augustana Choir, Mannskor: Augustana's Men's Choir and Sangkor Women's Ensemble are led by conductor and Director of Choral Activities John Wiebe. Building on a choral legacy over 100 years old, the choirs have become known for their exquisite sound, attention to detail and engaging performances with national and international tours, conference performances and CD recordings to their credit. You won't want to miss hearing these ensembles!

John Wiebe, PhD, is an award-winning conductor, pianist, educator, adjudicator and clinician based in Camrose, Alberta, where he conducts the choirs at the University of Alberta Augustana Campus, and in Edmonton where he is the Artistic Director of the Edmonton Youth & Children's Choirs and the Past-President of Choral Canada.
