High School Students
Augustana Dean Dr. Allen Berger visits our International Student Orientation.
You must present 5 subjects from your final year of high school, one of which must be English. The next 3 subjects must be from Group A (Humanities) or Group C (Sciences) and will vary depending on your program and major. The 5th subject can be from Group A, B, or C – or it can be another subject (with approval from the Augustana Prospective Student Office).
Click here for specific requirements by program and major.
A minimum 70% combined average is required for admission.
Applicants with a minimum of 24 credits of transferable postsecondary education must present a grade point average (GPA) of no less than 2.0, plus passing grades in the highest-level high school English and any other subjects required for your major.
Students who are assessed to have fewer than 24 transferable credits will be required to meet the admission requirements as a high school student.
Non-Matriculated Students – 21 years of age and older
If you will be 21 years of age or older by September 1st (if you’ve applied for the Fall term) or January 1st (if you’ve applied for the Winter term), you can be considered as a non-matriculated student.
Successful non-matriculated applicants will present a minimum 70% combined average in English, plus any other required subject(s) for their choice of major.
