Rocky Road Ice Cream Fantasy - Jan. 29

January 29, 1:00 - 4:00 PM
Convocation Centre, Augustana Campus

The Rocky Road Ice Cream Fantasy is an annual event that was created in 1993 by students looking to put on an affair where the children and youth of Camrose could come out for a fun filled afternoon bursting with activities and ice cream. The children’s festival has since been adopted, and is now coordinated by Augustana’s Residence Life staff. Throughout the year Resident Assistants, Hall Coordinators and other Residence Life staff work together to organize and prepare a smooth and successful children’s carnival. The program has evolved and since been designed to benefit a different charitable organization each year that has a positive impact on Camrose community. The proceeds from admission and raffle sales are going directly to the chosen organization. This years Charitable organization is the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation, the specific project that we'll be donating to is the “Gord Downie Secret Path Fund for Truth and Reconciliation.” The fund will support the NCTR’s initiatives related to missing children and unmarked burials.
