Augustana Extended Education (AEE) is the professional development provider of the University of Alberta - Augustana Campus in Camrose, AB. AEE open enrolment programs are designed for professionals from every sector who seek to expand their skills at a top 5 Canadian University.

AEE offers programs on a wide range of topics relevant to rural communities. Program participants can expect to:

  • develop their professional toolkit through intensive short courses, workshops, and certificate programs
  • examine and understand the unique challenges (and opportunities) facing rural communities
  • learn how to lead sustainable change and manage sustainable growth
  • supplement career transitions and expand their network

As the home of the Alberta Centre for Sustainable Rural Communities (ACSRC) and with a diverse and skilled liberal arts and sciences faculty of the U of A - Augustana Campus, AEE is in a unique position to provide a collaborative learning environment steeped in rural expertise.

AEE programs are held at the U of A Augustana Campus in Camrose, Alberta. To increase accessibility and transfer knowledge to our rural neighbours, AEE programs also have the ability to travel to rural communities throughout the prairie provinces.
