Summer Camps

We've partnered with our friends at the award-winning DiscoverE, to offer twoscience and technology camps this summer: Astronaut Training and Captivating Chemical Engineering! Camp hours are from 8:30am to 4:00pm. Early drop-off occurs from 8:00am to 8:30am and late pick-up is from 4:00pm to 5:00pm

Our camps are designed for the stated age ranges - please do not register your child in a camp outside their age range. The grades listed indicate the grade your camper will start in September 2019. If you have any questions about this policy, please don't hesitate to contact our office.

Astronaut Training

Gear up your young astronauts as they reach for the stars! Campers will explore how scientists study outer space, other planets, solar systems and stars through hands-on projects and creative activities.

Sample project: campers will pretend to be ancient explorers and come up with their own constellation in the stars. They will model their constellation using space play dough and crafting supplies, and will create a backstory for their stars.

Grades: 2 - 3
Date: July 15 - 19, 2019
Cost: $247.50/camper ($275 after May 1)

Captivating Chemical Engineering

Come discover the captivating world of chemical engineering! Campers will explore the atomic building blocks of our world through firsthand experiments and engineering-style design projects.

Sample project: campers will use their knowledge and skills to identify five unknown substances. They will be given only distilled water, vinegar and phenolphthalein to use in a variety of physical and chemical tests to identify these mysterious substances.

Grades: 4 - 5
Date: July 15 - 19, 2019
