Age: Entering Grades 4-7
Cost: $200 ($225 after May 1) – includes transportation during camp.
Different adventure activities every day! Hike, climb, canoe, bike and play your way around Camrose & area, exploring our natural areas. Learn outdoor and traditional bush skills. No previous outdoor experience required, although a sense of adventure is encouraged!
Our Adventurers camp combines play and games with skill development. Each day of the camp will provide campers with the opportunity to learn and develop a new outdoor skill in a fun and supportive environment. Campers will hike, bike, canoe, climb on a climbing wall, and learn the basics of having a successful adventure experience. Campers should be reasonably fit, with basic swimming and biking abilities. With our experienced staff and low camper to staff ratios, we provide a fun and safe atmosphere for exploring. Activities will take place both in Camrose, as well as at Park & Recreation areas outside of the city. Campers are required to bring a bike & helmet, and be comfortable riding the bike (mountain bike style with gears). Bike is not required on the first day. Parents will be provided with a camp info sheet, outlining the week’s activities and if any specific equipment or clothing needed that day (ie. Watershoes, swimsuit, bike, etc). We play outside every day, all day long, rain or shine, so pay particular attention to packing lists.
There is no before/after care provided this week.
