Perfect for the Active Artist. Learn how to use your camera to take stunning outdoor photographs! Explore Camrose’s natural areas while learning about landscapes, panoramas and macro. Different locations each day. Finish the week making a unique slideshow. Campers will need their own point & shoot digital camera.
Spend the week discovering Camrose & Area through the lens of your digital camera! Learn how to take great outdoor photographs, and how your camera can work with you. Our experienced staff build games, hiking and play into each day. Campers will also get the opportunity to learn about what they are seeing through natural history education. The passions of the group will determine each day’s schedule, making no two camps the same! On Friday campers get to share their favorite photos with their fellow campers by creating a slideshow. Slideshows are saved so that parents can view them at home and get a feel for your child’s adventure! Each camper will need their own point & shoot digital camera, as well as a USB stick and any cables needed for downloading photos. Please ensure that your child’s name, and a contact phone number, is on every piece of equipment provided for the camp.
