Bachelor of Science in Agriculture

Agriculture is a vibrant, changing field that involves corporations and individuals with backgrounds in traditional areas like soils, crops, and animal science as well as biochemistry, public relations, genetics, law, nutrition, public health, and business. The interdisciplinary nature of the Agri-Food industry has enabled agriculture to position itself as a key player in the knowledge based economy. Scientists, politicians and producers are beginning to discover the far-reaching implications of agricultural production as tied to community vibrancy, wildlife diversity, global temperature control, international policy, and even our health care system.
