Kim Misfeldt, Professor (German)

Dr. Kim Misfeldt teaches German language, literature and women's studies courses. She has published on Heinrich von Kleist, Mariella Mehr and drama pedagogy. Kim also does presentations on childhood sexual abuse and violence against women.

Recognized for excellence in teaching and dedication to her students, Dr. Misfeldt was the recipient of the Distinguished Teaching Award in 2000 and in 2011 received the Rutherford Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching. In 2013, Kim was named a 3M National Teaching Fellow.

Feisal Kirumira

Feisal Kirumira teaches German language and literature and assists with the Canadian Summer School in Germany program. He has conducted teaching workshops internationally and presented papers on second language acquisition, discourse analysis, and social linguistics. Pursuing a PhD in German Languages and Literature from uAlberta, Feisal was awarded the Augustana Faculty Sessional Teaching Award for 2010/11.
