Recitals and Ensembles

Recitals

The Augustana Faculty offers over 30 concerts during the academic year by guest artists, faculty, students, and university ensembles. The music curriculum emphasizes performance as an important component of an education in music.  Students are encouraged to participate in recitals and in ensembles. Furthermore, students are required to attend concerts at Augustana in order to graduate (minimum:  10 per year).  Music students are generally admitted free of charge to recitals.
