Norwegian School of Sport Sciences

The Norwegian School of Sport Sciences (NSSS) is a leading international institute for research and education in physical activity and sport sciences. The University of Alberta and the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences have partnered to provide students with an opportunity to study areas of Outdoor Studies, Sport Management & Physical Activity, Health & Sport Psychology in Norway. Seats are reserved every year for Augustana students applying to this program.

Apply

To apply for the Norwegian School of Sport and Sciences there are a few important steps. First, students should review exchange information on the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation website.

Please keep in mind that this is the first stage of the application process. If you are selected to be a program participant by the University of Alberta you then need to fill out an 'Application for Admission' Form from the Norwegian School of Sport Science.

Please note: While not required, students are strongly encouraged to study Norwegian prior to their departure for Norway. Please contact Dr. Ingrid Urberg for more information about Norwegian language course offerings at Augustana.
