Augustana provides an excellent environment for a student to prepare for chiropractic school. Augustana's small class sizes allow students to have greater direct interaction with their university instructors than is possible at larger institutions.

The core curriculum at Augustana also ensures that pre-professional students are provided with the broad background in the liberal arts - natural and social sciences, humanities, and fine arts - required to deal with the public as professionals. A chiropractor's successful treatment of a patient requires a trust relationship which is fostered by tolerance and understanding arising from a diverse liberal arts foundation.
