Federal and provincial student assistance programs as well as provincial scholarship and award programs may be available through your province of residency if you are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. For deadline dates, required information, processing times, etc., please contact your provincial funding office.

Canada Post Outlets
Once your Student Loan Agreement has been completed, a participating Canada Post outlet will forward the appropriate copies of your loan agreement to Edulinx and to the National Student Loan Service Centre. A list of participating Canada Post outlets in Alberta can be found here.
Cashing your Student Loan
Once you have received a Student Loan Agreement you will need to cash your student loan. Detailed instructions are provided here.
Edulinx administers your Alberta Student Loan on behalf of the government. This website provides entrance and exit counseling, your student loan information, your loan balance, details about new loan amounts and allows you to update your personal and contact information.
Student Funding Contact Centre (SFCC)
SFCC provides support for Albertans concerning student funding from government-sponsored student loan and grant programs and Alberta Works Income Support for learners.
National Student Loan Service Centre (NSLSC)
If you have a Canada or Integrated Student Loan, this website will provide ways for you to get information and details about your student loans with the flexibility to access your student loans at your convenience.
