Whether you’re a recent grad or a proud alumnus, you may find yourself in need of your parchment, a reprint, or a proof of graduation. Find out more about the difference between these and which one is suitable for you.
Your degree parchment is the official document issued by the University of Alberta that certifies that you have completed your degree.
If you attend your Augustana Convocation ceremony, you will receive your degree parchment when you cross the stage.
If you are not going to attend your convocation ceremony, indicate that you are not attending in Bear Tracks (under "Graduation Status"). You will be able to obtain your parchment after the Spring ceremony.
If you wish to pick up your parchment in person, you may do so at the Augustana Learning, Advising & Beyond Office, 2nd Floor Founder’s Hall, on the following dates:
- June 4 - 7, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Valid photo identification (ONECard, driver's license, or passport) must be presented (electronic copies not accepted) in order to receive your parchment. If you wish to have someone pick up your degree parchment for you, they must bring written, signed permission from you stating that your degree can be released to them. They will need to present their own photo identification.
After the pick-up dates, any remaining parchments will be mailed to the current address on the student record. Ensure that your current address is correct in Bear Tracks.
