The Aboriginal Students' Office (ASO) is committed to supporting the well-being and aspirations of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit learners at Augustana.

The ASO provides a wide range of programs and services that are intended to increase, support, and enhance Aboriginal students’ university participation, experience, and success.

Aboriginal Students' Office Winter 2018 Events

Each year, the ASO organizes a series of events for both our Indigenous students and the campus at large. This fall, we have many events and workshops that you may be interested in participating in. February 5, 2018: Bannock Taco day in the Cafeteria! Most delicious day of the year!

February 5, 2018: Nehiyaw Winter Stories with Bruce Cutknife. 6:00 pm in the Wahkohtowin Lodge - all welcome. Warm bannock and tea to be served.

February 13, 2018: Stewart Steinhauer sculpture dedication with Elder Mary Moonias - 3:15 pm. To be followed by a short reception.

February 13, 2018: Treaty 6 Flag Raising at Indigenous Feast Soup Supper. 5:00 pm in the Faith and Life Lounge. Elder Mary Moonias will lead the ceremony.
