There is generally no rental fee for using the main floor of the Forum as it is a public space used by many groups - including Augustana students, staff and faculty - at any given time. However, when using the Forum for an exclusive event such as a reception (or any event involving alcohol), a $225/day fee is applied. Additional fees may be incurred if furniture needs to be rearranged.
The main floor of the Forum offers a large space for group gatherings or mingling. The entire west wall is composed of two-storey windows, offering a clear view of Quad and letting in plenty of sunlight. Comfy couches surround three fireplaces in their own individual nooks, perfect for breakout groups or sitting to chat. Two long café benches and small tables offer additional space for seating – and eating – while the open concept of the Forum allows smooth travel from the Faith and Life Lounge through to the Library, Wahkohtowin Lodge and Dining Hall.
The Forum is an area licenced to serve alcohol, with written permission from Conference Services.
A PA system is available with prior notice and approval.
