Celebrations & Gatherings

To help foster and connect the Indigenous community on campus, Indigenous Student Services provides various opportunities throughout the year for students to gather, or to learn and participate in Indigenous culture and traditions.

Past events include cultural workshops, visits from Elders and other Knowledge Keepers, game nights, bannock taco lunches, guest speakers, dance performances, and road-trips to the U of A’s annual Round Dance in Edmonton.

Current students can check their email for the Indigenous Student Services weekly newsletter to find out more, or check out our Facebook and Instagram pages to keep up with what's happening at Augustana!
