Indigenous Student Services partners with others on campus to ensure that our students can access the resources available to them to achieve academic success while at Augustana.
Student Success Drop-In Hour
Augustana's Accessibility Resources and Student Success Coordinator, Sarah Tregonning, holds a drop-in hour in our Indigenous student community space in the Wahkohtowin Lodge every Thursday from 1:00 - 2:00 pm (changes to this schedule are included in our weekly newsletter and posted in the space). Stop by with your questions about time management, study skills, writing and presentation tips, accessibility questions, and more!
Sarah also hosts a series of Student Success workshops throughout the year. For a current schedule and to sign up, click here!
When you are doing research, stop by the Augustana Library to connect with our librarians. Our librarians can help you access the many services and resources the libraries have to offer. Whether you are looking for an article, textbook, music score, or ways to incorporate traditional knowledge into your assignments, our librarians will be there to assist YOU! You can also email firstname.lastname@example.org with your questions!
For other information on the Augustana Library and its many resources, supports, and programs visit http://www.library.ualberta.ca/augustana/.
Need help with writing? Visit the Writing Centre located in the Library. Set up an appointment or make use of the drop-in times to have a one-on-one consultation with a Writing Centre tutor.
Augustana Library Kids Korner
Located on the lower level of the Augustana Library, the Kids Korner is a special space where children can read or play while students study! Parents or guardians are welcome to borrow colouring books, magnets, a tablet, animal figurines or MegaBloks from the library’s circulation desk, allowing study and play to go hand in hand!
