U of A - NASA Bargaining Update March 31, 2022: Agreement ratified

We are pleased to share that both the University of Alberta Board of Governors and the Non-Academic Staff Association (NASA) have ratified a new collective agreement. The agreement has a five-year term from April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2024. It will be posted online as soon as it is available.
After a period of delay due to the pandemic, negotiations began in earnest in April 2021 and concluded in March 2022 with the assistance of a mediator. The mediator's report, which informed the ratification process and new agreement, is now available.
The Employee and Labour Relations Office will be rolling out an implementation plan for the renewed collective agreement in the days to come. Details will be posted on this site and shared with staff as soon as they are available.
