The Fabrication Shop is a service of the Department of Biological Sciences, located at G-117C, in the Genetics wing of the Biological Sciences Building.
For over forty years, the Fabrication shop has assisted researchers, technicians and graduate students in designing and building research equipment for specialized projects. We can assist you with fabrication, prototyping, repair, procurement of specialty materials and designing cost-effective research solutions.
Current shop technician Jeff Johnston has over 15 years of experience in Industrial Design, prototyping, and fabrication using a wide range of materials and processes. In addition, he is an Industrial Design instructor and holds his degree from the University of Alberta.
