Lilac Tent
Nestled near the Garden’s collection of lilacs, close to the Alpine Garden, this 30' x 40' white garden tent is perfect for family gatherings, company picnics, birthday parties, wedding showers and group functions.
Your Lilac Tent Rental includes
- Admission to the Garden and free parking for all your guests
- Picnic tables or 5-foot round tables with chairs (your preference)
- 6-foot rectangular tables if required for food service
- Set-up of tables and chairs by Garden staff
- Signage directing guests to your function
- Golf cart shuttle service for elderly and disabled guests at the beginning and end of the event
Additional Information
- There are no cooking or BBQ facilities at the Lilac Tent. You may bring in your own self-contained picnic-style food or arrange catering.
- If you wish to serve alcohol at your function, you must obtain a licence (available where you purchase your beverages).
- Most functions in the Lilac Tent must be held during regular Garden hours. There are, however, a limited number of openings for evening functions – call for availability.
- The round tables we provide are unfinished plywood – table coverings are recommended. The Garden does not have any table linens, - you are responsible for bringing your own. Picnic tables are painted wood and can be used with or without table coverings at your discretion.
- Available June through mid-September.
- The Lilac Tent is not available for Saturday wedding receptions.
Lilac Tent Rental Rates
Half day (4-hour rental) up to 70 guests $760
Full day (8-hour rental) up to 70 guests. $1,215
A 50% non-refundable reservation deposit is required at the time of booking.
Prices do not include GST. Rates subject to change.
