Case Competition Judges Needed

Student groups at the Alberta School of Business are looking for alumni to volunteer as judges for both actual and practice case competition presentations:

Enactus University of Alberta
The Enactus Ultimate Pitch Competition will be held at the University of Alberta North Campus on Saturday, January 18, 2020, between 10 AM and 4 PM. Each team of two undergraduate students will get the opportunity to win a portion of up to $5,000 through the inaugural Bradford | Tharakan Prize in Entrepreneurship. If you would like to be a judge for either the preliminary and final rounds, email kpham1@ualberta.ca. Alumni are also invited to watch the final round of the competition.

Alberta JDC West
JDC West is a three-day undergraduate competition that showcases academics, athletics, debate, and an out-of-the-box social competition. The Alberta School of Business is one of 12 schools competing in various disciplines. They will be travelling to Regina to compete at the Hill School of Business in January 2020. In preparation, they are looking for judges for their practices and mock presentations. To become a judge, email puszka@ualberta.ca.

Alberta MBA Games
The MBA Games is a national competition that brings Canadian MBA students together to compete in a series of academic, athletic and spirit events. The A-Team (the Alberta School of Business' MBA Games team) is sending 28 MBA students to compete in the 2020 MBA Games in Hamilton, ON. As they train to win the Queen’s Cup, they are looking for judges for their practices. To get involved, email mairsnch@ualberta.ca.


Alumni Mentorship Program

After getting their feet wet in the workforce, new alumni are now ready to consider additional focus in their careers. The BAA has established an Alumni Mentorship Program to help connect recent grads with more seasoned alumni, to benefit from their advice and experience.
